SEPARATED AT BIRTH: THE SPANKSTER AND THE SKATEBOARDER

Welcome to Slamjamz' latest feature, Separated At Birth! Each Friday, we'll post a wrestler's photo, and his separated at birth twin for you to muse on, take a gander at, and comment on. So lets get started, shall we?

On the left, we have our man Spanky, who we miss seeing on American TV greatly.

On the Right, we have Emile Hirsch as Jay Adams in the new movie "Lords Of Dogtown.

The resemblence to the Spankster, especially throughout the movie, is uncanny.

Just as a quick aside, if you haven't seen Lords of Dogtown yet, and it's still playing in your area (chances are it isn't, which is a shame), I urge you to catch it. It's a (mostly) true story of the beginnings of what would become the X Games era style of skateboarding with some terrific performances by the aforementioned Emile Hirsch, and also by Heath Ledger...many reviewers were predicting an Oscar nomination for him for this film. It's well worth seeking out, if not now, then when the DVD hits stores, probably sooner rather than later.
