SEPARATED AT BIRTH: LIKE FATHER LIKE SON?

Going to take a slightly different direction on this one folks, but it's worth it...heh heh heh...

On the left, TNA superstar, and current World Champion, Raven.
On the right, Steven Strait as "Warren Peace" from the summer sleeper hit "Sky High"

For those of you who haven't yet seen the movie (which I HIGHLY Recommend you do), it follows the exploits of a group of teenagers who are the offspring of super parents, and their adventures at "Sky High", where they learn how to be a superhero, a sidekick, or sometimes, both. The hero of the film is young Will Stronghold, son of the world's best known superheroes, The Commander and Jetstream, played superbly by Michael Angarano (who also stole the show right from underneath Heath Ledger, Emile Hirsch, and John Robinson as "Sid" in Lords Of Dogtown...this kid's gonna be a huge star, folks...).

When Will arrives at Sky High as a freshman, he finds that another older student, Warren Peace, is out to get him. Warren, the offspring of a superheroine and a supervillain, has a grudge against Will, who's father put his father, the aforementioned Supervillain, in prison. Warren can generate fireballs in his hands, and spends a great scene destroying the cafeteria trying to get Will. Still, by the end of the movie, Will and Warren are friends, and it's hard not to watch Strait, who generates what my other half would call "cookiepants syndrome" and will keep the ladies busy, i'm sure, because he commands attention when on screen.

In any case, actor Steven Strait spends his early time on screen sitting and staring at Will, obviously plotting something. His actions are very much like the kind of posturing Raven is known for. He's a loner, extremely arrogant, broody, looking for a fight, and really good at what he does. And there's even a slight physical resemblance as well. The character is so...so...well, Raven-like that it's almost as if he's channeling the TNA Champion from his days in ECW and WCW (and some of TNA as well).

So this call goes out to Disney - inevitably, with Sky High making almost double what it was anticipated to bring in at the box office (almost $60 million to date), there's bound to be either a) a sequel, or b) a Disney Channel television series. I hope it's the former, and a great plot for the second movie would be to have Warren's father break out of prison and come after Will as revenge for Will's father's actions. And there could be NO ONE more perfect to play the part than Raven. With Raven playing the supervillain dad to Strait's superhero son, I think "Sky High: Sophomore Year" would be a "surefire" (heh heh) winner.

I really liked Sky High myself and I really have to agree with you on Warren Peace's resemblance to Raven.
It would rule if they made a sequel and got Raven for the part of Warren's father!
