It's official - Hell HAS Frozen Over

Today, something happened that I didn't think, even given this business, I would ever see...

WWE.Com has a rotating headline box on their site, and on one of those boxes today is a photo and the words as follows:

Bret Hart and WWE have agreed on a deal for an upcoming DVD chronicling the amazing career of the Hit Man. Bret will be in Stamford over the next several days working on the DVD.

I have to admit, I figured the chance of this ever happening to be extremely remote, not only because of the 1997 Survivor Series and it's infamous "Montreal Screwjob", but also because Bret did not like the way Vince McMahon handled himself during the days and weeks following the death of Bret's brother Owen Hart in 1999.

Still, the reunion of the WWE and one of it's most important and popular veterans has promise, and (I can't believe i'm saying this...) here's hoping we can see more of Bret in the very near future on WWE TV. And preferably, here's hoping Vince McMahon will be man enough to do the job for Hart in a TV forum in the very near future....and allow Bret to bring closure to the Montreal Screwjob for both himself and his fans once and for all...

Don't hold your breath, folks...
